Good morning, Hornets!
Happy Birthday to AnnaDean Hearth!
It's Character Counts Week! Today we're focusing on trustworthiness and respect. Being trustworthy means being honest, keeping your promises, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Respect means treating others the way you want to be treated, listening when someone is speaking, and being kind even when you disagree.
Today: Wear your house color, earn a point for your house.
Tomorrow: Write a kind thing you have done and add it to the kindness wall in the commons.
The Spooktacular Candy Drive ends this week! Donations will be accepted from October 5-October 23. All donations will be used at the SCA Spooktacular event on October 30, 2026.
This week please consider sending in items to help decorate pumpkins during house meetings on Friday.
Houses will decorate pumpkins on Friday that will be on display at the Spooktakular. Houses will be judged based on creativity and house representation. The winning pumpkin will be awarded 25 house points. Students should bring in items related to their house that could be used to decorate a pumpkin (paint, hats, house animal items, stickers, etc.) and drop them off with their house leaders by Friday.
