  • It's official! We are taking enrollment for Little Hornets Preschool. To get more information on times and pricing, please contact our preschool teacher, Joy Ritter, at joy.ritter@springville.academy

  • Registration is through Harmony. ALL enrolled students need to register. Please contact us if you have any questions.

  • We are pleased to serve delicious food to your children! We ask that parents send cash or check as payment. You can find out more about the SCA Cafe here.

  • Breakfast: 7:30 am (drop off in the back)
    Start: 7:45 am
    Tardy Bell: 8:00 am
    Dismissal: 2:45 pm

  • Arrival Procedures

    7:30-7:45: Students who are having breakfast at school will be dropped off in the back and we will begin releasing at 7:30 am. Please line up at the top of the sidewalk facing east. (The sunrises are beautiful!)

    7:45-7:55: Students who are not having breakfast at school will be dropped off in the front parking lot. The first car will stop beside the sidewalk facing the stop sign. Please remain in line and wait for the thumbs-up from the staff before exiting the vehicles.

    Students can go straight to class.

    The tardy bell is at 8:00.

    Dismissal Procedures Beginning at 2:50

    Families (and riders) of 7th, 8th, and Kindergarten Students will be picked up in the front parking lot. The line starts at the stop sign next to the sidewalk and winds around the parking lot. Students will be released in waves. We will load one wave, making sure all students are in vehicles. When you see the "go" sign you may begin driving off. Please stay stopped until you see the go sign. Please stay in line as you exit right towards Brick Street.

    1st-6th grade students who do not have siblings in grades K, 7, or 8 will be dismissed in the back. Line circling all the way to the edge of the Hornet Highroad. Students will be released in waves. We will load one wave, making sure all students are in vehicles. When you see the "go" signs you may begin driving off. Please stay stopped until you see the go sign. Please exit on the Hornet Highroad.

    Number Tags

    All students will have a dismissal number. Staff will line students up inside by the way the cars are lined up outside. Students should come out in order. The numbers help us keep the dismissal line running smoothly, and ensure safety of our students. Please make sure your number tag is visible in your rearview mirror. If someone else picks up your child regularly, we will make them a number tag too. If we do not see a number and do not recognize the driver, we will have the driver pull over and we will make a phone call to make sure the person is authorized to pick up the student.

    Safety Over Speed

    Safety of our students, not speed, is the goal of the arrival and dismissal lines. We will move as quickly as we can, without compromising safety.

    We will adjust these procedures if necessary.

  • Please bring a full water bottle to school each day. If you have a reusable water bottle, please take it home, refill it, and bring it back full the next day.
