Fall Running Club

2026 Fall Running Club Permission Slip

Fall Running Club is back at SCA! Running Club will only be offered for K-4 students, older students should join cross country! Running Club is intended to motivate students to be more active, promote school spirit, and to experience the enjoyment and gratification of training and competing in a race environment. We will work towards competing as a group in the Limestone Capital Youth 5K on Saturday, October 3rd at 8:10 in the morning in downtown Bedford. Parents must attend the 5K with their child, there will not be volunteers available to run with them. This event is put on by the Bedford Parks Dept. - not a school event.

Running Club will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school at Springville Park until 3:45 p.m. Running Club will begin Tuesday September 15th. If your child wants to participate in the afterschool program, we must have a signed permission slip. Running Club is a great way to make new friends, encourage others, and gain inner strength and confidence.

We have a TROPHY to earn back this year and every entry matters! Please register for the Capital 5K at this link https://runsignup.com/Race/IN/Bedford/LimestoneCapitalHalfMarathonand5Kand 5K (runsignup.com) and select Springville Community Academy on the School Challenge page!
